FAQ

The short version is: Yes.

While there is no method in the world that would allow a turned-off phone to be located in real-time, PhoneTracer is able to fetch network data with approximate location data. Also, you can use Cloud Services to retrieve the last signaled geolocation of your smart device. Keep in mind that on the contrary to Telecom Geolocation, all current cloud services are available only for smart devices like smartphones, tablets and computers.

The accuracy depends on your chosen location methods. While most of our methods deliver results with pinpoint GPS-grade accuracy, some other fallback location methods like GSM LBS or IP deliver more inaccurate results.
